Prescriptions are handled with great care in this practice. We want to ensure you get the right medicines for you. Please submit requests for prescriptions in writing, to ensure errors are kept to a minimum – handwritten notes, emails and faxes are ideal.

Most prescriptions are issued following a consultation. If you want a repeat prescription for something we prescribed before, you can submit a request in writing. It is possible that you will have to attend for reassessment or perhaps the doctor will issue a new prescription, if it is clinically safe to do so.

Please allow 48 hours for your prescription to be prepared. A fee of €15 for any prescription without consultation will apply.
